Meet your wedding & event planner

HELLO! I’m Priya, a London based events and wedding planner. I have a huge passion for bringing visions and mood boards to life. I have been co-running a successful bridal diaries and lifestyle blog on Instagram @anjandpri, giving our close to 40 000 followers lots of wedding/event planning tips and inspiration having learnt a wealth of knowledge from networking with suppliers and vendors in the industry. I especially love finding unique ideas or suppliers to make your event or wedding truly memorable for yourselves and your guests. I pride myself in my impeccable organisational skills and perfectionism and will stress to ensure that your day runs smoothly, so you don’t have to!

Over the past five years, I have organised countless events ranging from charity balls to proposals to pre-wedding and wedding events. My approach to planning is bespoke and flexible; making sure we find a package suitable for your wedding and budget needs. From P.O.A planning where couples just need some direction on where to start and a Plan Of Action, to full on wedding planing where I’m with you from picking the venue until the last song is played at the reception, there is something for everyone! I recently got married myself, as well as having been a bridesmaid multiple times in the past two years, so can totally relate to the emotional rollercoaster that wedding planning can be!

Alongside weddings, I am also here to help with other bridal and pre-wedding events including bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and hen parties so I can be part of the entire wedding lead up!

My other specialities include organising proposals (one of the best feelings is seeing the fiancé’s reaction to the surprise!) and various milestone events from birthdays to baby showers and anniversary parties. My creativity is endless as there’s nothing I enjoy more than seeing my clients happy.

why book me?

Creative Energy

My creativity and attention to detail is my USP. I spend a lot of time sourcing unique ideas that are personable to yourself and the vibe you want from your wedding or event.

Supplier Inventory

I co-run a bridal diaries & lifestyle blog on Instagram @anjandpri which has allowed me to build a large inventory of trusted suppliers who will help to make your big day special.

Finance Planning

From personal experience, there’s nothing worse than being shown lots of amazing options to then find out it’s not within your means. I’m open and honest about budget and finances from the start. I will tell you what will be realistic within your set budget and try my best to find alternatives to suit your needs.

Approachable

Planning any key event can be stressful and there’s nothing worse than feeling unsupported. I have a friendly and fun approach to ensure you have the best lead up possible and enjoy your event to it’s maximum!

The Little Things

My forte is thinking about the things that most people don’t. Whether that be timelines for your family or suppliers, song suggestions for entrances and dances or unique favour or seating plan ideas. I live on Pinterest, and if you hire me, I will plan your event to the tiniest detail like it’s my own.

Experience

I have 5 years of experience in planning events ranging from back gardens to manor houses to barns! I have figured out what works, what doesn’t and the importance of having contingency plans! In addition, I am insured and have medical emergency and First Aid training.

Quality Over Quantity

The majority of my bookings are partial planning, on the day co-ordination packages or other non-wedding events planning. I only take on a handful of full wedding planning packages a year so I can devote my time and creative energy to those couples fully.

Discretion

I don’t want to be ‘that planner’ who is running around in a uniform with multiple clipboards because a) guests will notice and b) it will not look good in the background of any photos! My aim is to blend in so the event runs seamlessly without realising I’m there but still be the obvious point of call for yourselves, your guests and your suppliers.

a bit about me..

Travelling and exploring countries is my favourite thing to do! I’ve been to 44 and counting and I would say Japan, Fiji, Tanzania, Norway and Argentina are my top 5.

I am actually a fully qualified dentist with a special interest in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. Although this seems like a world away from events, dentistry has allowed me to hone in on my attention to detail and creative skills further which I’ve now applied to my events company!

I love animals and am convinced I was a vet or marine biologist in my past life. I’d love to be involved in some sort of animal charity or conservation project around the world when I’ve retired!

I’m a water baby and recently got my PADI open water diving qualification! Next on my bucket-list is to dive with Great White sharks.

My go-to drink is any form of passion fruit/ lychee cocktail (basic but always hits the spot) or a glass of Riesling.

My biggest pet peeve is rude people. I’m always for the “kill them with kindness” approach.

You will always find me with Old School R&B on in the background. They just don’t make music like that anymore!

My favourite kind of day is either a countryside day featuring long dog walks and a pub lunch or a fun boozy brunch in London. Either way, I’m now all for daytime fun/drinking because it still allows for an early-ish night! (Can you tell I turned 30 recently...)

My friends and family would describe me as thoughtful, ambitious and obsessively organised.
